📣 KS4 Pathways to the Future – Options Online 📣 KS4 Pathways to the Future – Options Online Event

We’re looking forward to welcoming our Year 9 families to our Pathways to the Future (Options) Online Event on Monday 2nd February 2026 at 6pm.

This important evening marks the next step in our students’ journey as they begin shaping their KS4 curriculum. They are a fantastic year group, and we are excited to support them as they start planning for their future.

The event will take place on Microsoft Teams, and a joining link has been sent to all parents and carers.

We can’t wait to see you there and begin this exciting chapter together! ✨
✨ Learning to Fly in Year 7 Performing Arts! ✨ ✨ Learning to Fly in Year 7 Performing Arts! ✨

Our Year 7s have truly taken their new Performing Arts scheme of work to new heights—quite literally! Today they’ve been exploring trust, teamwork and physical theatre… and yes, there was plenty of uplifting work on display.

We’re so proud to see students learning how to support one another, step out of their comfort zones, and soar with confidence. 🚀💫

They may not have wings (yet!), but with teamwork like this, they’re well on their way to becoming high‑flyers.

🕊️ Learning to Fly? More like learning to try, trust, and triumph.

Keep your eyes peeled—there’s lots more to come from this sky‑high scheme!

🌟 BVC Debating Society Update! 🌟 Our Debati 🌟 BVC Debating Society Update! 🌟

Our Debating Society is now well underway, and last week’s debate on whether children should be banned from using social media was absolutely superb. The quality of argument, confidence and respectful challenge shown by our students was fantastic to see — a real celebration of critical thinking in action!

We have an exciting line‑up of debates coming up over the next few weeks, ranging from ocean vs. space exploration to whether humans should establish a permanent base on the moon.

🗣️ Debate. Think. Challenge. Grow.

We’re proud of our young orators and can’t wait for the next round!
