Year 11 Mock Results Day πŸŽ“ Our Year 11 students h Year 11 Mock Results Day πŸŽ“

Our Year 11 students have finished their mock examinations, and today was Mock Results Day.

The results are an important milestone, but they are above all a starting point. Students are now working with their teachers to review their performance, identify their next steps and clarify their learning journey ahead of the final exams.

Congratulations to every one of them on the effort, resilience and commitment they have shown so far. Thank you also to our staff for their support, and to our families for their encouragement.

The journey continues! πŸ’ͺ

Huge congratulations to our Year 9 boys’ football team, who won 3-1 last night to book their place in the semi-final of the District Cup! πŸ‘

It was an outstanding performance, full of skill, teamwork and determination, and everyone at BVC is incredibly proud of them. A big thank you too to the staff who run and support the team, and to the parents and carers who cheer them on.

Keep going, boys. We’ll be right behind you in the semi-final! πŸ’™

Huge congratulations to Elsie in Year 7, who competed her ponies at Arena UK over the half term break, and had a brilliant show!

Elsie and her pony Fallowfen Socrates won both of the evening’s feature classes, plus three more classes, including the end-of-show Grand Prix. That’s five winning rounds, in big classes with up to 90 starters in each.

Her other pony, Dromore Hillspirit, also had a fabulous show, finishing in the top five in every class she entered.

There was more to come when they got home. Elsie received a medal in the post for winning the league table for the most points in the East on Fallowfen Socrates, with Dromore Hillspirit coming second on the same table. πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆ

Well done, Elsie. We’re very proud of you! πŸ‘
