Want to improve flexibility and fitness, reduce stress and anxiety, improve mental health and overall wellbeing?
Yoga is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness.
Mixed ability is a perfect class for those with some experience, wishing to fully enjoy yoga’s impact on the body and mind. Gentle opening stretches will develop your flexibility before we move into strengthening, flowing sequences and soothing rest. Options and modifications will be offered throughout to ensure that you can practise in a way that works for you. Please note this class is not suitable for beginners.
It is advisable to eat only lightly two hours before class.
Your Tutor: Camilla Shakhlo
Camilla is a Level 3 Diploma certified Yoga teacher with 20 years of experience on the mat.
Camilla’s teaching focuses on Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, with some restorative practices and Meditation.
Camilla teaches how to use breath (pranayama techniques) to bring healing and harmony to our bodies. She is committed to creating yoga classes that are safe, uplifting, restorative and down to earth. Camilla teaches a combination of mixed ability yoga, welcoming people with different fitness levels and body types.
Every movement is breath-synchronised – giving each of the participants the opportunity to find comfort in their bodies as they are, with the option to take on challenges or be more gentle.
What you will need to bring to the first session:
Please bring a mat, a blanket for some cushioning of delicate joints/relaxation plus a block and a strap if you have them. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a drink.
• Please get advice from your GP before starting Yoga if you have any health concerns or an existing health condition.
• You will need to complete a pre-exercise health questionnaire before the course, which you can download from our website.
How to Book and Pay for your Course
Course fees are payable in full at the time of booking. Bookings and course fees must be made at least 5 working days before the start of the course. Should you wish to pay in person (see below), then please send our office an email to ensure we note your name on the class list. Failure to do so may result in class being cancelled due to low numbers.
