Would you like to learn about stained glass? Then this course is for you!
Student stained glass work, 2018
Have you ever wondered how glass is made and put together? No experience necessary. Just lots of patience and a steady hand!
Students will create a unique and beautiful stained glass piece using clear and coloured textured glass during this course. The class sizes will be limited to a maximum of six students so the tutor can spend quality time with everyone each week and will take place at the Bottisham Community Sports and Social Club.
The course fee includes £20 cost of specialist materials.
About Your Tutor
Lisa E Fretwell has worked as an artist and teacher for 30 years, exhibiting glass and paintings in Leicester, London, New York and Hertfordshire.
Then she will teach students, firstly, how to create a design for glass, then step-by-step, all the techniques needed to make a copper foiled stained glass piece. Handouts will be provided along with all of the glass, and tools required.
