Your Tutor:  Yolandie Swan

This class is led by Yolandie Swan, a talented and enthusiastic sewing instructor with over six years of teaching experience. Her warm, encouraging approach makes every session a joy, whether you’re threading a needle for the first time or refining your professional skills. Yolandie’s passion for sewing is infectious; she inspires confidence, creativity, and a real sense of achievement. You’ll leave not only with new techniques but also with a proud smile and something beautiful you’ve made yourself!

What you will need to bring to the first session

  • Tape Measure
  • Scissors for cutting paper
  • Set Square
  • Pencil and Rubber

Basic tools and equipment for pattern cutting will be discussed at the first session.

 

Progression

Please note that in order to gain the full knowledge required to learn the basics of sewing and sew your own garments, it is necessary to start your course in September and continue for 2 further terms.
