Presented by Camilla Ghazala

RP is an intrinsic part of ensuring we are attending to care: for the client, the therapeutic (developmental) process and ourselves.  Reflecting on the developmental process and all the  elements, can be complicated, even overwhelming, so creating a structure can be useful.

These elements can include:
• clarifying what is going well
• what feels stuck
• teasing apart tangles
• stepping back from loop cycles that activate the stress or
disconnection response
• identifying and clearing over connected, ambivalent or against
feelings
• identifying referral actions
• preparing for supervision
• clarifying areas of development and a realistic plan
• and other elements!

We are working to ensures the developmental process is in the interest of the client’s wellbeing and our professional and person wellbeing.

Methods:

We are working to ensures the developmental process is in the interest of the client’s wellbeing and our professional and person wellbeing.  All of Camilla’s work is rooted in Adlerian psychology, through which she has blended symbiotic approaches that include: Polyvagal Theory, Compassion Focused Therapy, ACT , Internal Family Systems, Systemic, wave 3 CBT, Shamanic and Buddhist Psychology & Philosophy.

One term that encapsulates all of these approaches is ‘interconnectedness’.

This workshop aims to give trainees and qualified practitioners an opportunity to try out styles of reflection through a mixture of learning, discussions, and experiential exercises.
