Pottery - Thursday (2026/27)

Explore Your Inner Potter

Discover the creative possibilities of contemporary ceramics in our well-equipped pottery studio. Suitable for both beginners and more experienced learners, this course introduces a variety of ceramic techniques and processes in a friendly and supportive environment.

Each session includes a short demonstration followed by practical exercises designed to help you develop your skills, confidence, and individual style. Projects will include hand-building functional and decorative pieces such as platters and vases, as well as experimenting with modelling techniques. You will also have the opportunity to try wheel throwing on our new Shimpo pottery wheels.

A wide range of coloured slips and glazes is available, allowing you to explore different glazing and decorative techniques and add unique finishes to your work.
