Introduction to Mindfulness (CPD Workshop) 28/01/23
Presented by Dr Shani Langdon and Elinor Brown
Counselling CPD Workshops are open to counselling students, practicing counsellors/psychotherapists and other professionals. The workshops can also contribute towards ‘The Advanced Certificate in Counselling Studies’
At the heart of mindfulness are awareness, compassion, clarity and choice. Exploring where we are now, building skills to see clearly, disentangling from habitual patterns and making choices in line with our values, can support us to thrive in all areas.
This workshop, suitable for qualified counsellors, supervisors and students, aims to give participants the opportunity to experience mindfulness for themselves and explore how it might be useful personally and professionally, from an Adlerian perspective. The day will include experiential exercises, discussion and theory, in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Hot water is available for drinks but please bring your own tea/coffee/milk. Please bring a packed lunch.
