Dressmaking – Thursday
Dressmaking - Thursday
Why not join our dressmakers to learn how to use a pattern, fit a garment, along with various dressmaking skills?
A basic knowledge of sewing is an advantage to gain full benefit from this course. You will be working on a project of your own choice, so that you can work at your own pace. You will be taught through a mix of individual help from the tutor and group demonstrations which include putting in a zip, pockets, collars, pleats etc. Materials and patterns are not included in the course fee. Practical help is given in cutting out and making of garment.
If you are new to the course, we can put you in touch with the tutor before the start of the course for advice on choice of cloth and pattern for garments.
