Drawing for Fun!

During this course, you will be shown the basics of how to use a variety of drawing techniques through a series of exercises that can be used to draw anything!

This class will take place fortnightly at the Bottisham Community Sports and Social Club, where Lisa will teach you to develop the basic skills to learn to draw and really LOOK at your subject, using a variety of interesting and fun techniques. For new beginner students, there will be a series of initial drawing technique exercises for you to complete independently, alongside the activities below.

  3. Portraits- Ears and mouth
  4. How to draw a rabbit
  5. How to draw a badger
  6. How to draw a cat

 

About Your Tutor

Lisa E Fretwell has worked as an artist and teacher for 30 years exhibiting glass & paintings in Leicester, London, New York and Hertfordshire.

She has always loved drawing, and has taught drawing for the whole of her teaching career. She has recently published a book with her illustrations in it with Penguin Random House called Antarctic Atlas.  She also makes and sells cards and block printed fabric for a hedgehog charity called, ‘Hoggywobbles’ based in Burwell.
